Although this transfer is only 16.44.1 rather than 24-96, the sound is still full and wonderful and with that special analog quality lifting it above CD. I played the same recording of 'Land of Hope and Glory' on this transfer and then on my old EMI CD and was amazed at the extra depth and overall acoustic quality of this transfer -- the 'official' CD sounded drab by contrast.
Thanks for this; what would be even better would be to post it in 24-96. I use a very nifty program called Audio DVD Creator to burn HD audio to blank DVD discs .. Audio DVD Creator won't run on Windows 10 so I simply use the free Vmware 16 to create a window housing a copy of Windows XP to run it. Child's play; and the audio results using this system makes the few minutes work totally worthwhile
Anyway, thanks for the great upload .. I'll watch for more.
